Doodling in Vogue

Mar 26 2011

As part of our feature on Fashion Bloggers from all over the planet, We introduce you to Elisabeth, author of the blog Voguish Doodles. Take one look at her, and understand why we were fascinated by her unique sense of style. A self-confessed dork, this 22 year old from Jakarta, Indonesia certainly has an eye for combining colors.

Seen here at a post dated March 23rd, Elisabeth is wearing an ethnic patterned scarf, turquoise necklace and gray cardi from Gaudi; baggy pants from Pull&Bear and turquoise sandals from a Bangkok Street Market. She describes this look as Hippie Ethnic, and we think it suits her well.

She’s one of those girls that can pull off any look.

We love Elisabeth’s turquoise sandals! Her look projects an earthy, hippie feel that is comfortable yet appealing. Here are some options for her sandals:

Trego by Aldo. $35 from 6pm

These thong style sandals from Aldo are very appealing to the eye. In fact, you could show these off in cut off baggy pants like Elisabeth’s, or with denim shorts.

the Medallion by Nine West. $34.78 at 6pm

The Medallion certainly lives up to its name. It’s beautiful stone detailing gives it more of an ethnic feel. Its made of good quality turquoise suede.

Arouse by Charles David. $46 at 6pm

With a name like Arouse, who wouldn’t want these sandals from Charles David? Love the snake skin detail!

One more thing, Elisabeth certainly knows how to accesorize! Here are some pieces from Flirt Catalog and 6pm that might interest you!

Double Braided Belt. $24.50 from Flirt Catalog

Turquiose Stretch Ethnic Bracelet. $29.50 from Flirt Catalog

Lucky Brand Kindred Spirit Bead Necklace. $38.50 from 6pm

Great accessories like these can bring you from one era/style to the next. It’s really how you mix and match them with your clothes. Visit Elisabeth’s blog and learn from a young master of hippie style!
