Both fashionistas may have two different takes on style, but we love ‘em either way! Blake, who plays the socialite Serena Van Der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, shares her character’s flair for Upper East Side fashion.

Pop princess Katy Perry prefers colorful couture clothing and radical hair colors. She wore a flowered corset with a hot pink mini to the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with Christian Louboutin’s Bibi pump in blue. Blake wore the same pair in black at Fashion’s Night Out.

It’s Official! Britney’s an X-Factor Judge!

Not only does she have the illusive X factor herself, pop superstar Britney Spears is now part of the reality talent show!

After much speculation about who will join Simon Cowell and LA Reid on the judge’s table, Fox has finally confirmed Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will be completing the roster. The group was presented at the 2012 Fox Upfront Presentation held in New York City. Whilst Demi will be making a cool million on the gig, Britney will reportedly receive $15million for one season!

American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez currently holds the title as the best dressed judge on TV.. I wonder if Brit will give her a run for her money?

“I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out!” said an excited Brit.

Although I think Demi had the advantage in the wardrobe department (love,love, love the dress girl!), I do like Britney’s Giuseppe Zanotti strappy sandals! It’s part of the Fall 2012 collection, we weren’t able to find her exact pair but we do have these great alternatives from BlueFly.

2012 is definitely a year to become a BOLDER version of yourself. The Spring/Summer 2012 runways are filled with solid colored pieces in bold hues. Yes ladies, you are encouraged to use more than two colors from your crayon box this season.

If you want to disguise certain parts of your anatomy, here’s a tip: avoid chunks of color in areas where you don’t want unwanted attention . For example, a little too much color on your tummy or bust will automatically draw eyes to the area. Try a dress with bold color down the middle or a tank dress with bright colors at the hem.

Still can’t decide which colors to choose?

Oranges and tangerines reign supreme on the runways! It’s a bit tricky to wear so be sure to buy the right hue for your skin tone. Shorts paired with blazers are also hot this season, you can wear them together or separately for more versatility.
